I'll start it out with one of the most common tips...

Eyes Up and Look Where You Want to Go

Target fixation is a deadly trap. Eyes on path will get you around that corner everytime.

This is kind of a two-parter ...

A) Don't outdrive your skill (not even to impress others)
B) Don't outdrive your headlight (at night)

As stated earlier "don't outdrive your skill" If you have to cross a yellow line in corners to keep up your in over your head,know where everone is going and meet them there

Be aware of your surroundings at all times!! Head checks when stopping and always having a "way out" while in traffic, especially when stopped will help ensure you stay alive.
